I Love Auctions!

We went to a dinner/auction put on by Friends of Hospice of Jefferson County last night. We got tickets to get in, and thought it might be interesting. They had a silent auction and a live auction .. I put bids on several things, and came home with a bunch of little cookbooks put out by the Topeka Capital Journal of a lot of their recipes from the newspaper. I also got a little scrapbook (but not the big basket with lots of scrapbooking stuff in it). Then Jim bid on this beauty, and we actually got it! Of course, we had to call Matt to come help get it home!! The burners actually work, but the oven needs a little tweaking to get the thermostat to work right.
